What is a campaign "Leaderboard" feature and how can I use it to create "competition" around my campaign?

The "Leaderboard" is an optional campaign feature that can help you to create "competition" between groups (IE - classes, teams, grades, etc) in efforts to create "buzz" around your campaign (ultimately leading to increased donations).

If the Leaderboard is enabled for your campaign your donors will be able to give their donation on behalf of a competing team present in the leaderboard. The total sum of donations credited to each team will be listed in the leaderboard tab located on a campaign's landing page. (Note: you also have the option to hide the leaderboard list of your campaign from the public, but still know the status internally).

To add the Leaderboard to your campaign, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on "Fundraisers" and select "Campaigns" from the drop-down menu.

3. Click on the circle-like icon on the campaign where you want to add the Leaderboard and select "Promote/Email" from the drop-down menu.

4. Click on the "Leaderboard Click here to Manage" option from the menu on the next page. (You can also mass email your donors or set up contacts and use that contacting as potential donors. These are free and separate features to promote your campaign within your subscription)

5. Enter your team names and Save. You can add as many teams as you want. You can also choose to hide your campaign from the public. (This will not change anything in the internal reporting).

6. That's it. You are all set!

This is how the donor will view the Leaderboard option while donating, see below. All they will need to do is to select the appropriate team to complete the transaction.
