You can create custom email templates to use when sending email messages to your contacts. When a custom template is used repeatedly, it can save time and effort.

The template contains a subject line and message (with images, if desired). When you’re ready to send the email, just load the template, select the recipients, and adjust any details in the message.

  1. In the header, select Fundraisers > Campaigns. The Campaigns page appears. 

  2. In the row of the campaign you want to work with, select the gear icon > Promote/Email.

  3. A pop-up appears. At Send a Mass E-Mail to Potential Donors When Your Campaign is Published, click Click Here to Manage.

    A pop-up appears, defaulting to the Promote Email sub-tab:

  4. At Subject, type the subject of the template.

    Note: When you save the template, the Subject becomes the custom template’s name.

  5. At Message, type your text. A rich text editor provides a number of formatting options.

    Note: To insert an image, click the ‘insert image’ icon. In the URL field, copy and paste the URL of the image, type alternative text, and adjust the size and spacing. Then click OK.

  6. Click Save as Template.

When you’re ready to send an email to contacts, you can select this template from the Email Templates drop-down.
